If you've never been successful at cooking a roast that's tender and extremely flavorful, you're going to want to make my mom's recipe. It's very easy and absolutely delicious. It's one of the first things I asked her to teach me to make when I got married, and it's been my family's favorite for dinner ever since. Head on over to Four Seasons Cafe to make your own!

Pot roast is one of my all time favorites. I love it when recipes get passed down generation to generation.

I checked out the Four Seasons link even though I kinda like the way I make pot roast. But one (me) can always learn something new. Your commentary was a hoot and well worth the trip. I also think I will wait next time to salt just to see if it makes a difference.
Thanks!
