Stitching

Wow!

I just have to share this framed collection with you, stitched by longtime friend Kay and framed by the ever-fabulous and charming Jill Rensel. I released these charts ages ago, so it's fun to see a fresh new perspective on them!

GGG

When Kay first sent this picture to me, she said she wanted them specifically in this order because "first, you Gather with friends, then you Give thanks, and finally you Gobble down all the food." 🙂 I love that!

And for those of you who collect the Just Cross Stitch Christmas ornament issues, you may know that I'm working on a series of ornaments for the Twelve Days of Christmas. I would love to be invited back to submit the rest of them, but if not, I will continue them anyway. Here are the first two, beautifully stitched and finished by Cheryl…

JCS ornaments

I love how she finished them! She said she used The Twisted Stitcher's tutorials to help her with the finishing, and I love love love how festive they look!

Thank you, Kay and Cheryl, for taking the time to share your creations with me. 🙂

Today I'll be working on the model for Nantucket Girl, filling orders, and hopefully spending a little time designing. I feel very fortunate right now that I'm not having to pack up my home and leave everything behind for higher ground like those on the east coast are having to do. My prayers are for them today.

I also love the way Kay did the Gather, Give, Gobble. I also love the first 2 ornaments. I haven’t seen this magazine out yet but can’t wait.

OH WoW…. The Gather, Give and Gobble is amazing. I love the lay out and frame. Just gorgeous!! Is there anyway to ask her what count she stitched them on?

Beautiful! I hope you continue with those 12 days. That’s one of my favorite things is the 12 days of christmas. 😀

I knew there was a “First Day” but couldn’t find it…which issue was that one in, please? I love these.
Kay’s finish is awesome…the three look great framed together that way!

It was great to meet you in Utah – loved all of it. Haven’t been on the computer as much as I used to, but wanted to give you a shout out. 🙂
I love these framed pieces – too cool. But I’m really excited about these ornies. I’ve been looking for some that call to me and have found a few but they just haven’t been what I’m looking for. I do hope you continue these, because these are it! Thanks. Take care.

Jill has done an amazing job with Kay’s stitching! I have all of these designs too but never thought of stitching them up all as one piece. Gobble hangs proudly on my wall and I’ve just finished up Ghoul.
The ornament finishes are fabulous too and I really enjoyed your previous post with all the Halloweenie finishes. I’m always inspired by others’ work.

I just love Jill’s framing, these pieces look so good.
I’m also pleased to hear that you will complete all 12 Days whatever happens as I have the first two charts and would love to stitch all 12.
