I so enjoyed the designing of this particular piece, as it's been one I've wanted to do for a long time. It's nothing like I had planned, but I don't mind. Maybe one of these days I'll have a design turn out as I pictured it in my head!
ETA: Miss Margaret is my hero for stitching almost the entire model in about 10 days. Margaret, you astound me! If you want lots of inspiration for stitching samplers, head over to her blog (and see her precious kitty, Mia). 🙂
Also be sure to visit Nicole's blog too! Her stitching photos leave me drooling.. she helped me out with the model as well!

I was lucky enough to see your model live and in person last night at Attic Needlework and immediately put it on my Nashville pre-order list with Jean…
And I don’t usually stitch samplers 😉
Melody

I just spotted this online and was showing my husband, all the while telling him how much I want to stitch this one. I think it’s wonderful and so different from anything else out there!

Well, these are just delightful and I will be adding them to my stash and stitching them up.
The little animal series has been LOTS of fun. They are super quick stitches with lots of character.
Cain and Abel will be a great addition to my sampler wall even if the over-one text does slow me down a bit.

One word: Yum!

And another great design, thanks! But did Margaret really stitch this in only 10 days??? Wow, does she ever get some sleep? I think it would take me at least 10 months 😉
