Martha loves to look outside the window in our living room. There is almost always a squirrel outside, flicking its tail at Martha, knowing that the only thing Martha can do is to whine and pant furiously because she can't get to it through the glass.
But today, it rained, and the squirrel did not come out to play.
Maybe tomorrow, Martha.

Reminds me of a beautiful embroidery I saw at the CEG exhibition last week. Follow the link to the gallery and scroll down about half way.

Oh how I wish we had squirrels here in Australia. They are so cute. We have possums that get into the roof of your home and make nests and lots of noise. They are cute to look at but quite nasty and can make awful noises.

She’s beautiful! I lost my blk/wht springer in May. He was not very fond of squirrels invading ‘his yard’. I love the breed.
