Sounds cool and so etching fun and enjoyable, but I may have to work from a Monday instead of Sunday as I am working from an iPad, haveno printer and may need to borrow such. From work! 😍
    What. Fun this will be!

  2. Paulette, How extraordinarily generous of you. Your samplers are so enjoyable to stitch. I look forward to Sunday stitch day and already have a perfect family for the gift. Thank you very much.

  3. Thank you for your generosity in providing the pattern for this project for free. How fun to tune in each week and have another section to stitch! I am definitely on board. It will be fun to see the finishes at the end!

  4. OMG Paulette! I’m so excited! You are so sweet to do this for us, your faithful fans! 🙂 I’m so excited to gather my supplies and I’m looking forward to taking the first stitch! Thank you, thank you, and thank you some more! BTW, I love your design in the JCS Christmas issue. I will surely be stitching that too! You are such a kind person and I have often wished we could be neighbors! Oh boy…we could have some fun times! I’m probably closer to your Mom’s age, but she could join the fun!!! Thanks again…ready,set…..stitch

  5. This is just perfect! You can count me in. I was wondering what to start next and then your post appeared. I checked and I have all but one of the required floss so I can hardly wait to get started. Our church parish is St. Luke’s Anglican (Episcopal in the U.S.) so it’s great that this is based partly on the gospel of St. Luke. I would love to have it done for the holidays.

  6. I have to say that this is one of the best ideas I’ve heard of in a long time. My customers are so excited to be stitching together with you (virtually, LOL) and to have a completed project by Thanksgiving, Thank you for sharing your talent and time with us ~ Rachelle at thecottageneedle.com

  7. Thank you! Thank you! Can’t wait to begin Mary’s Sampler. I get more projects actually finished! with SAL’s, KAL’s etc. Love your rabbit designs too. And Sergei and his Russian counterparts……. And crowns, more crowns!

  8. Dear Paulette,
that is fantastic! I am so excited and would like to be a part of that. Thank you so much.
I have to comment here, because I think that I am the only one in the world, who does not know how fa…ook is working. I made some experiments, but it was more or less coincidence, that there is something on my side. (But I will not ask my children, no, I will try myself.)
    Your stitching friend Anja

  9. Oh wow Paulette! I am in my very first SAL to start October 1st, and now this. My second one to be sure! How could I possibly resist MARY’S SAMPLER. How special. How wonderful. How perfect. Thank you so very much!

  10. Thank you so much for this! I already know I will love it. I have stitched some of your work already, I have Gloriana framed and hanging in my bedroom. I am so pleased that you are keeping this one focused on the real reason for Christmas – Christ, and for naming it Mary’s Sampler. I am so looking forward to this, and plan to stitch it in the chapel where I work after my work hours. What a lovely way to count the days until Thanksgiving! Christ’s Peace, Shari Witt

    Thank you, thank you!

  12. Thank you so much for this Paulette. I am going to ‘give it a try’. It is so generous of you to do this. I get no stitchy gifts for Christmas so I doubly appreciate this. God bless you and yours. Cathryn

  13. oh wow Paulette – how generous of you – what fun – a Christmas mystery in miniature – Can’t wait to see your creation. You are so dear to so many. I love the story of Christ birth in Matthews – thanks again friend – Melody

  14. Thank you for doing this; I’m in! I’ll be starting a bit late because of a knitting mystery–a shawl– that will wrap up (ha!) in 2 weeks, but I’ve gathered my materials in case I find a tiny bit of time to start on time. I’ve decided on Lakeside 32ct Sienna Night for the background.
